| George finished Acrylic Painting No. 1 in one session lasting about twenty minutes. During his painting session George used three different sized brushes to apply four colors of acrylic paint to his canvas. |

| He started with a two inch brush and brown, and then burnt sienna, acrylic paint spacing parallel swatches of color in a horizontal pattern with some blending. He then switched to a smaller brush blending yellow strokes into his design. Using a larger one inch brush next, he added white acrylic paint mixing it into his pattern and then creating perpendicular swatches. |

| His final application of burnt sienna acrylic paint was added with the large two inch brush again blending short strokes into his painting. George worked methodically, almost with a rhythm, when dipping and then stroking his brushes. |
