| Crayon Crazy II was completed by Virginia in ten sessions with the help of her collaborator. Two large triangles in the center of the canvas were shaped with masking tape by Virginia’s collaborator. She colored the open areas green and then a hair dryer was used to melt the crayon wax. |

| A similar process was followed for a large red triangle area and a smaller yellow triangle area. Other areas were also masked as triangles or rectangles for Virginia to fill with crayons and water-soluble wax pastels. After these coloring sessions, she poured water on the canvas by shaking her water filled maracas blending the pastel colors. |

| At the last session Virginia covered a large area of the canvas with a white colored wax pastel crayon and then added water for a final blend. |
