| Tom used a dripping paint platform to complete Drip Painting No. 2 in two sessions. Tempera paint mixed with sugar dripped onto two canvases with the color choices, the pace of the falling drops, and the locations of the paint bottles determined by Tom’s collaborator. |

| Tom had a button switch attached to his tray connected to a rotating turntable and cassette player with music. Each time he activated the switch music played for sixty seconds and the table top rotated for a complete revolution and then stopped. Tom actively hit his switch during both painting sessions. |

| The first drip session lasted almost two hours with four bottles slowly dripping sugar and tempera paint mixtures shaded green. Two weeks later the second session lasted for almost an hour and a half with six paint bottles dripping mostly shades of brown tempera paint mixed with sugar onto the canvases below. |
