 |
| Adam completed Pudding Painting No. 1 in two sessions lasting more than an hour. At the first session his collaborator prepared three containers of instant pudding mixed with flour, water, and acrylic paint: yellow, brown, and green. |

| Adam used his hands to spread mixtures scooped onto the canvas but seemed more interested in pushing the canvas aside, so his collaborator organized a second session where Adam’s pushing would be put to use finalizing his painting. At the second session his collaborator combined sugar and tempera paint into batches of peach, yellow, green and reddish brown mixtures. |

| With his teacher helping, Adam pushed a rubber tentacle ball, foam balls, water soaking balls, and whiffle golf balls coated with the sugar paint mixtures from the table onto the canvas next to his wheelchair on the floor. Adam screamed with delight during this session, also ending up with some paint on his face. |
