 |
| Linda finished Salt and Acrylic I in two painting sessions lasting about forty five minutes. With help from her collaborator she mixed peach, red, yellow, and brown acrylic paint with whole wheat flour, salt, and water, and squeezed various amounts from plastic bottles onto the canvas. |

| Linda then used a medium sized brush to blend the mixtures into a reddish background covering the entire canvas, including the sides. At the next session she dipped brushes into paper bowls of ten colors of acrylic paint and spread each color into a separate area. |

| To get her to blend the colors her collaborator actively moved the canvas under her brush. Linda thoroughly enjoyed creating her painting including the playful pushing and shoving with her collaborator. |
