Ted finished Yes in one painting session lasting about thirty minutes. Ted observed other NVSS clients painting in his area and expressed an interest to work on a painting.

After hanging around watching a session he was ready for one himself, and expressed disappointment that someone else was scheduled to paint. To accommodate Ted a workplace was set up at the end of a nearby table and painting materials supplied so he could paint during the same session.

Ted dipped several brushes into different colors of acrylic paint making various sized strokes on a canvas board. He also dipped a medium sized brush into several colors of tempera paint mixed with sugar blending his strokes with the acrylic colors and adding a border. Ted was pleased with his painting.
