| Janice completed Salt Swirls in one forty five minute painting session. Her collaborator prepared three containers of salt dough mixed with acrylic paint: brown, orange and red. |

| Janice used the brush in the red mixture to spread paint onto the canvas in circular swirling motions. To encourage her to use more paint, her collaborator randomly poured mixtures onto the canvas directly from the containers. Janice then spread and blended the salt dough paint mixtures, but mostly with repetitive circular sweeps. |

| Her collaborator encouraged Janice to cover the complete canvas and helped with the edges. Janice enjoyed her painting session laughing and giggling as she painted. |
