| David completed Squirt Gun Painting No. 1 in one thirty minute session. Using a green sugar and tempera paint mixture, David painted the entire canvas with a green background. |

| The still wet canvas was then placed on a black plastic tarp outside the painting room. Using three sugar and tempera paint mixtures in small buckets (blue, white, and blue-gray) and a large plastic syringe squirt gun. |

| David proceeded to suck paint from the buckets and then squirt various amounts randomly onto the canvas. David proved to be a very enthusiastic squirt gun painter, working on two paintings at the same time! |
