| Lisa completed Violet Horizon in one thirty minute session. She used four colors of sugar paint (violet, blue, orange and white) and two medium sized brushes to completely cover the canvas. |

| Lisa started with the edges using violet sugar paint and then added more violet and some blue to a large amount of the canvas. She then added some orange to the lower third of the canvas and, using a wooden spoon, finished her painting by adding some white, mostly to an edge. |

| A video camera recorded her session and Lisa would often turn and look at herself on TV and laugh. |
